Whispers in the Dark
Whispers in the dark
Cry baby cry
The darkness hides what the light reveals
Shadows cross upon the veil of mystique
Disguise the truth
Hide and run
Secrets kept within the hunter’s palm
This vessel knows of what you fear
Eyes aglow
Cry baby cry
Whispers in the dark
What do they say?
“You know nothing of your world.”
“You cry and thus you shall betray a loved one tonight”
“Your mother shall die soon”
Whispers in the dark
Cry baby cry
For they speak the truth
The hunter in your room is sent to kill
He feeds upon the blood of innocence
He knows the world all too well
and longs only to be what he never shall be again
Innocent and young
Violating and vicious are his methods
Cry baby cry
Bring mommy to your side so that the hunter shall feed
Whispers in the dark
He will give you new life
Never shall you fear again
Pain no more
Blood forever
Cry baby cry
For you will know the pain of everlasting youth
Centuries shall pass and eventually you’ll forget this night
The night the whispers in the dark caused you to call mommy
into the fanged darkness of pain and the night you were
permitted to enter the land of the dead-men
Whispers in the dark
Cry baby cry.
For this shall be the last time you feel the warmth of tears upon your cheeks.
